We had a very good stay albeit for one night.
The room was brand-new and pet-friendly with a shower, hairdryers and bath sheets in the open bathroom. The price was US$ 980. The breakfast was hot, the check in was easy.

The staff were smart, and the room was excellent sized and contemporary on the 4th level. A couch, a dining area and Nespresso coffee were much appreciated. Location: the hotel was really close to the city centre and the train station, the restaurant on the sky bar, and kebab shop and bus stop.

Staff and drinks are very good. The units are tidy for machine. The price is £ 801. The location is magnificent and optimal, just a short walk away from Walmgate. And it's a 10-15 minute walking distance from downtown.

The family room was super comfy with 2 separate rooms which was perfect for us and the kids. Breakfast was really lovely, lots of choices n presented well. The staff were brill with children. Great location, just a short walk to most attractions in york. We enjoyed our stay overall!
But the bathroom could've been cleaner and it smelled a bit funky. There was a noisy bin truck early in the morning which woke us up.

The hotel was perfect for our family, especially with a young baby in tow. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wonderful variety. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to Yearsley Pool nearby was nice.
My kids wished we had a few more family-friendly activities available on site.

missingWrote a review on 25 Augpoor lighting
Lighting in the rooms is dim and feels inadequate for getting ready or reading. The layout of the bathrooms is questionable, with sinks outside the toilet area and limited basics provided, such as only one toilet roll. The rooftop bar was closed some days, and it was tricky to find parking, a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast charges seem over the top for limited choices, with complaints over quality and long waits. The decor in some areas feels dated and could use a refresh.
